Expedition Oregon Announces Five $1,000 Team Scholarships for 2018 Race

Bend Racing is pleased to announce 5 x $1000 scholarships designed to help grow the sport of adventure racing and bring a diverse set of racers to Oregon for the 2018 expedition race.
Each $1000 award will be gifted by a Bend Racing brand partner and can be used by the teams to help offset travel costs, logistics, and/or entry fee costs.
The scholarships will be awarded to one team per each of the following five categories:
Domestic Masters
Domestic Young Guns
International Masters
International Young Guns
Wild Card
Any team can apply. Teams chosen must be willing to adopt one of our participating brands' name as part of their team name. Selected teams will be consulted about specific brand name adoption before accepting the scholarship. The list of participating brands will be announced with the announcement of the scholarship awardees.
To enter to win one of the five scholarships, teams must provide:
At least (1) high-quality photo of each team member. Action shots preferred.
If possible, provide at least (1) high-quality team photo. Action shots preferred.
A 100-200 word bio for each team member.
A team bio and race goals.
A list of any current team sponsors.
To apply, teams should submit all necessary requirements as listed above to BendRacingOR@gmail.com with the subject line “EO Scholarship”. To be selected, teams must have submitted all requirements and have registered with a deposit.
