Mark's First Race with the Team on Orcas Island

I arrived on Orcas Island, Washington, USA by ferry the day before the race. I had some time to sort out team accommodations, prep my gear, prepare the team kayak and take care of team registration. This was to be my first race with my new team. I was a little nervous to not let my team down during my first race together. It’s not easy being the new guy on a team that is ranked within the Top 10 Teams in the world. And now this is my team!
